We are working on it.
the Sri Lanka Martial Arts Federation (hereinafter referred to as the Federation) was launched. Such martial arts education activities have made great achievements, and the competition population has increased dramatically.
In the national tournament, many players from various martial arts organizations, including member organizations of the Federation, also participated, and the scale of the tournament is also expanding.
In such a situation, apart from the conventional point rules, we have newly established two new RF junior rules that can be one step up from the previous rules for those who have staged and advanced users. ( Please refer to the rules for details)
In particular, the RF expert class rule is not the conventional point rule, but a more practical junior martial arts rule with the lifting of the ban on joint skills and strangulation techniques, which are characteristic of MMA (comprehensive martial arts), which is one of the world’s major trend, (with some restrictions).
Supporting the physical and mental well-being of young people through martial arts-based guidance, rehabilitation, and mentorship.
Promoting comprehensive training systems across disciplines, encouraging both traditional and modern techniques.
Sharing knowledge, values, and life lessons from martial arts through public lectures, publications, and seminars.
Sri Lankan faces serious issues such as rising truancy, over 4,000 suicides annually, and an increasing number of “hikikomori” (reclusive individuals) and NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training). Our martial arts-based educational philosophy directly responds to these challenges. By fostering discipline, respect, and purpose, we help young people build resilience and reintegrate into society.
We are currently working to unite martial arts disciplines in Sri Lanka. This initiative aims to:
Promote healing and peace in communities
Improve hospitality and cultural understanding
Support elderly welfare facilities
Provide purpose and structure for socially withdrawn youth
Through martial arts education—a cornerstone of Japanese culture—we aim to support troubled youth and their families while encouraging meaningful social change.
Martial arts enhances physical health, mental focus, and confidence while teaching discipline, self-defense, and respect—all in a fun, empowering way.
